Hello, I am Mindy Fischer. I have been in education forever. I intend to stay in education forever. My father was a Lutheran school teacher, I grew up in it, stayed in it, and will remain for quite a while(God willing). I got my degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Concordia University when it was stilled called, “The Teacher College”. I have taught every subject for toddlers to fifth grade, but I really like where I am with the first and second graders. In my professional time I have also been a coach, athletic director, play director, and summer school specialist. I am married to John Fischer, from Nebraska, and we are huge Husker fans. We have two children here at St. Paul’s. Laurence is in eighth grade and Maccenna is in fourth this year. We enjoy being here at the school, but also enjoy being a part of the the whole St. Paul’s community. We don’t really have one set service we go to. We find that we are comfortable at Saturday night just as we are fine at either Sunday service. I look forward to meeting you here in our St. Paul’s community.
