Summer and School

It is summer! I know that isn’t news to you but I thought I would state the obvious. We have been enjoying the events of the summer. There is the heat and humidity as well as the rain and the wind. There is nothing like a summer thunderstorm to remind you of the power of the Lord God Almighty. Who doesn’t stand in awe of a lightning and thunder? Then there is the wonder of the rainbow that comes after the storm.

But summer cannot last forever. Soon it will be time for school once again. On Monday, August 17th, school begins again. We are all getting ready for the new school year. Many of the students are starting to get excited for the new year. Or perhaps your son or daughter isn’t all that excited to start the new year. Whatever it might be, I find myself starting to think that direction.

I pray that your summer is going well and that you are enjoying as much of it as possible. I know that I have made the most of the summer. And I am also making the most of my time as the school year approaches.

I would like to invite you to register your son or daughter for school – Preschool 3 through 8th grade. We have room for your child. Come and be a part of a Christ-centered, Lutheran school. See you soon.
