Thanksgiving….a time to be thankful for all we have. What a wonderful time of the year. We have so much to be thankful for.
During our Bible time we have been talking about being thankful. In our activities for our theme Thanksgiving we made turkeys, owls, and collage turkeys.
Winter is just around the corner. Please make sure children are dressed appropriately. We still go outside weather pending.
This month our staff member is Sarah Mixco. Sarah is from Collinsville where she resides with her husband and two kids. This month she is being promoted to lead. She started at St. Paul’s in 2013. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Looking for a fun way to spend Thanksgiving Day, or want to start some meaningful Turkey Day traditions? Here’s some ideas: 1. Watch parade together.
2. Do a turkey trot walk/run.
3. Research your family tree.
4. Volunteer at a soup kitchen.
This is what it’s all about: Giving thanks for family, friends, the holiday feast, and other good fortune. Showing gratitude in some way will help children learn about the true spirit of Thanksgiving.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
